Overview

Field Operations covers on-site activities: labor management, equipment tracking, safety monitoring, and daily logs. Access field operations features under Field Ops in the navigation menu.


Safety Dashboard

Navigation: Field Ops → Safety Dashboard

Features

Logging an Incident

  1. Navigate to Field Ops → Safety Dashboard
  2. Click "Report Incident"
  3. Fill in incident details:
    • Date & Time: When the incident occurred
    • Type: Near Miss, First Aid, Recordable, Lost Time
    • Project / Location: Where it happened
    • Description: What occurred
    • Personnel Involved: Workers involved
    • Corrective Action: Steps taken or planned
  4. Submit the report

Safety Metrics

Metric Description
Days Without Incident Consecutive days with no recordable incidents
Incident Rate Incidents per 200,000 hours worked
Near Miss Ratio Near misses reported vs. incidents
Training Compliance Percentage of workers with current certifications

Daily Logs

Navigation: Field Ops → Dashboard (available from Field Ops main dashboard)

Creating a Daily Log

  1. Navigate to the Field Ops dashboard
  2. Click "Create Daily Log"
  3. Record for the day:
    • Weather Conditions: Temperature, precipitation, wind
    • Workforce Count: Number of workers on site by trade
    • Work Performed: Summary of activities completed
    • Materials Used: Key materials consumed
    • Equipment Used: Equipment deployed on site
    • Visitors: Inspectors, owners, etc.
    • Safety Notes: Any safety observations
  4. Submit the daily log for record keeping
